Welcome to DG GUITAR STUDIOS website, we are LOCATED IN SURREY BRITISH COLUMBIA and have been teaching guitar since 1999. We teach Electric guitar, Acoustic guitar and Electric Bass. Our primary focus is Rock, Metal, Pop, Country, Blues, Jazz, and Finger Style guitar, in a relaxed and comfortable environment. All ages are welcome, learn at your own pace. 

At DG GUITAR STUDIO we have a major emphasis on playing your instrument in a band/open mic environment. Our team has extensive band/open mic experience in Blues/Rock Bands and Jazz/Big Bands. Information such as chart reading, what to expect in a band/jamming situation, equipment required, and songs to expect to play depending on the situation. It can be very intimidating for an inexperienced musician to try to integrate themselves into a Blues/Jazz jam, there are many available throughout Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. It makes it very easy for the musician, to be mentored into the jam rather than just try to join in. The information and experience that we provide at DG GUITAR STUDIO can help the inexperienced musician and make the jamming experience pleasant and positive rather than to much of a challenge and discouraging.
